Richie Hawtin's PIXELYNX Team Partners With Hadean To Build Music Metaverse Game

PIXELYNX, a blockchain company founded by electronic music producers Joel Zimmerman aka deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin, has partnered with venture capital-backed metaverse startup Hadean to scale the music metaverse it announced last month.

PIXELYNX, which seeks to connect music with blockchain and gaming, will create a new virtual gaming platform called ELYNXIR where people "will be able to attend virtual concerts, unlock unique playable NFTs and socialize/play within customized ecosystems designed by music artists," as per a press statement.

With ELYNXIR, PIXELYNX and Hadean will give a chance for artists to reach new audiences and also monetize their music using a blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

The announcement also introduced a 'hub' that will play host to virtual shows, games, and unlockable music NFTs that fans can explore a unique method of experiencing content from their favorite musicians.

"Forming the backbone of the project Hadean's distributed cloud platform will scale and connect these worlds and ecosystems together through a 'hub' world to form one continuous, persistent experience," the press statement read.

Many firms, as well as nations, have introduced their interests in jumping on the NFT and metaverse bandwagon. The South Korean government has indicated plans to kickstart the metaverse industry in the nation as a part of its Digital New Deal.
