According to Express, there are speculations that the release of the next episode of the hit Adult Swim animated series will be pushed back due to coronavirus. The pandemic has obliged most production in the United States to halt their filming and editing schedules.

Also, there are theories that the second half of season 4 will be released alongside Disney's first animated live-action film “Mulan.” However, Disney has already announced that it would be pushing back the movie's release date.

The changes alarmed fans and convinced some that “Rick and Morty” Season 4, episode 6 might not be released anytime soon. Also, there is a photo circulating online suggesting the delay, but it was not from an official account.

“This decision has not been easy but we feel that it is an appropriate course of action at this time. Our goal is to resume the show whenever the hell we want. We thank fans for your patience and hope you stay healthy,” the message read.

A few users reacted to the photo on Reddit and one said that it was not “unbelievable” because “Rick and Morty” has a history of having ridiculous delays.

“Even though that’s probably a shitpost, at least it’s not too unbelievable. They’ve been taking their sweet time, they might as well take more time off,” the user wrote.

Meanwhile, some fans were already annoyed by the long wait and wondered why the makers released the first five episodes of “Rick and Morty” Season 4 when the entire series is not yet done.

“Seriously though, what is going on with this season? If it was going to take them 4 months to make the next episodes why did they even release the first 5 episode in the first place?” another fan wrote.
