Rihanna 3 Hours Late To Boston Concert: Fans Say She Has No Respect

Rihanna may have lost fans in Boston this week, after showing up three hours late to her own concert.

The performance was to make up for cancelling her March 10 show for her “Diamonds World Tour,” after suffering from laryngitis.

“BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we’ve been waiting on this day forever, and I’m hurt that I let you down. I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I’m so embarrassed about this!” she tweeted after.

But it seems she still disappointed her fans, with many tweeting about her lateness on the social media accounts.

“Thank you @rihanna for playing an hour long concert and lip syncing the whole thing. I’m glad u “balled out” for Boston [sic]” wrote @camurphy7.

Another fan, @chrismahtin, said “@rihanna 2-3 hrs late for your show in Boston, huh??! #disrepectful #noexcuse basketball was more important huh?? Don't come back.”

“I will never ever go to another Rihanna concert again. You have no respect for your fans and you don't deserve our money. So disappointed,” said @nadou2.

It was speculated that Rihanna was busy watching an NBA game instead of taking the stage. Regardless, Rihanna did not acknowledge the tardiness or the anger from her fans.

She wrote on Twitter after her show, “#BOSTON I will never forget this night!!! I truly have deeper love for you now!!! Thank you for making it extra special #DWT.”
