Rihanna To Act In 'The Fast And The Furious 6'

Rihanna loves acting! After having already debuted in the acting world, the Barbadian singer seems to like the idea of acting. She has already signed another movie.

The 24-year-old singer is apparently taking up a villainous role in the upcoming blockbuster The Fast and the Furious 6.

The We Found Love singer would be starring with Vin Diesel and Dwayne The Rock Johnson, reported Mail Online.

Rihanna is impressed with her acting debut in Battleship,' an insider told the Sun.

Writers think she'll be perfect for the role. Her character has plenty of bite and doesn't take any prisoners - just like her in real life, the source added.

The Bajan beauty's debut movie Battleship was recently released. She played the role of a weapons officer named Raikes in the movie.

It's a step up the ladder for her and could lead to bigger action roles, the source continued.

The Fast and the Furious 6 is scheduled to be released by May 2013. However, it seems the shooting is yet to begin next month.

The Sun has reported that the shooting will mostly take place on the racetrack in Southend as London will be on lock down due the Olympics.

There are also chances of the seventh part of the movie to be made later.

Last year, Van Diesel, 44, said: With the success of this last one, and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn't have enough space.

We have to service all of these character relationships, and when we started mapping all that out it just went beyond 110 pages, the studio said, You can't fit all that story in one damn movie!' he added.
