Rihanna And Chris Brown Back Together: Weed, Cocaine, Abusive Boyfriend - Is She Heading Towards Self-Destruction?
In 2005, when Rihanna released her debut Album Music of the Sun, the world received her as a charming singer with a million dollar voice and stunning looks. Over the years, the Bajan beauty has certainly grown as an artiste and a fashionsita, but now things seem to be taking a different turn.
The 24-year-old singer has been in the news of late for all the wrong reasons. Firstly, Riri was photographed by Getty, smoking what looked like a weed joint. As if that was not enough, the Man Down singer stirred further controversy after uploading a picture of herself, fiddling with some white powder while being seated on the shoulders of her bodyguard at Coachella.
She uploaded the picture via Instagram and is seen chopping up lines of white powder on his head. The substance is perhaps cocaine. May be, it is just a stunt by her to make her fans believe so. But all said and done, the picture has got people talking.
Just 2 days ago, Rihanna posted perhaps what can be dubbed as the weirdest picture so far on Twitter. A picture from Coachella shows a man's head sitting in between Rihanna's legs, and that undoubtedly is suggestive.
In the picture, although the man is facing away from what could have made the picture extremely controversial, the picture certainly qualifies for a bizarre status. (Consecutively posted pictures on the following day suggest that the man in the picture is her bodyguard and she is perhaps sitting on his shoulders, just that the picture has been taken in a very wrong angle.)
Also, Rihanna has posted topless pictures of herself on Facebook from a break she took in Hawaii. The bikini clad singer is seen enjoying being on the beach and appears as if she doesn't care about the world.
Among all that she has already stirred up, speculations of her getting back with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown are still on. After the 24-year-old singer quit her infamous relationship with Brown in 2009, she became nothing less than a role model for those who applauded her confidence and courage to speak to the world about what happened to her.
The We Found Love singer in 2009 told Glamour magazine: Domestic violence is a big secret. No kid goes around and lets people know their parents fight. Teenage girls can't tell their parents that their boyfriend beat them up. You don't dare let your neighbor know that you fight. It's one of the things we [women] will hide, because it's embarrassing.
My story was broadcast all over the world for people to see, and they have followed every step of my recovery. The positive thing that has come out of my situation is that people can learn from that. I want to give as much insight as I can to young women, because I feel like I represent a voice that really isn't heard. Now I can help speak for those women, she had said.
After having said such things in front of the world, it's pretty shocking to see someone as confident as her getting back with Brown.
It would help if Rihanna realized that it does not take long for someone to go from fame to shame. With all the controversies surrounding her, the singer seems to be on cloud 9. Hopefully, it is not a journey towards self destruction.
