Rihanna Blows Chris Brown Kisses In Court As He Faces Prosecution For Allegedly Faking Community Service [PHOTO]
Chris Brown went to court on Wednesday for a hearing at Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Los Angeles and was joined by Rihanna.
Brown is currently in hot water after it was alleged that he faked community service, stemming from his 2009 domestic assault against Rihanna. Brown infamously assaulted his then-girlfriend, hitting her so forcefully that she had major contusions on her face, a split lip and a bloody nose.
Brown eventually pleaded guilty to assaulting Rihanna and was ordered to stay away from her until 2011. Virginia Deputy District Attorney Mary. A. Murray followed a motion against Brown on Tuesday, stating his reported hours are "inconsistent, unsubstantiated and unverifiable," according to Fox News.
The Associated Press reports that while in court, Rihanna sat with Brown’s mother and blew him kisses from the front row.
It is unclear whether or not Brown faked community service, so Los Angeles County Court Judge James Brandlin asked for more information, and another hearing will take place April 5.
Prosecutors want Brown to redo his 180 days of service.
Brown went on an Instagram rant after facing accusations that he faked community service hours in Virginia.
"I'm wise I can handle the hate but enough is enough yo!! Yes it bothers me but its not my main focus! My music is ..."
"I pray every day and night for a new outcome. And just when everything seems to be going good, some new [expletive] happens. My soul cries for positivity,” Brown added.
Meanwhile, Rihanna and Brown were spotted leaving a recording studio Wednesday morning after working on their latest collaborative single.
The Barbadian beauty did not look too happy to see the paparazzi, as she tried to hide her face at one point while they rode in Brown’s Porsche.
Wearing glasses, a sweater and a backward baseball cap, Rihanna looked casually dressed, while Brown wore a fedora hat.
Rihanna recently spoke to Rolling Stone magazine about getting back together with Brown, stating, “Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
