As rumors flew last night that Rihanna and Chris Brown are getting back together after a remix of Rihanna's Birthday Cake featuring Chris Brown was leaked onto the internet, many took to Twitter to respond to the news.

The pairing is one of the most controversial in recent celebrity history, with Rihanna returning to the man who admitted to beating Rihanna back in 2009. Here are the details of the incident according to a recently leaked police report:

Robyn F. turned to face Brown and he punched her in the left eye with his right hand. He then drove away in the vehicle and continued to punch her in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand. The assault caused Robyn F.'s mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter all over her clothing and the interior of the vehicle.

Brown looked at Robyn F. and stated, 'I'm going to beat the sh- out of you when we get home! You wait and see!'

Brown's remix of Rihanna's Birthday Cake included the lyrics Girl I wanna f*** you right now. Been a long time, I've been missing your body, along with Give it to her in the worst way.
