Rihanna And Chris Brown Spotted At Lakers-Knicks Christmas Day Game
Despite being spotted only days ago at her beachfront villa in Barbados, Rihanna surfaced in Los Angeles Tuesday at the Lakers vs. Knicks Christmas Day game, in the company of Chris Brown.
Fan site Ultimate Rihanna reported Monday that the singer was seen leaving her Caribbean hideaway after exchanging gifts with family and friends.
The fan site tweeted a series of photos Tuesday of Rihanna and Chris Brown sitting courtside at the basketball game, sent in by fellow spectators who spotted the two sitting together.
Additional photos posted directly to the site show Rihanna and Brown walking to their seats, and also show Rihanna sipping a large beer as they watch the game.
The couple seemed much more subdued than they have in recent weeks, following their barrage of particularly intimate photos posted to social media that suggested the two had rekindled their relationship.
Rumors ran rampant after the two spent Thanksgiving together in Berlin, a stop on Brown's European tour, and Rihanna posted to her Twitter a photo of Brown lying shirtless on a bed.
Both Rihanna and Brown spent the subsequent weeks posting suggestive couple photos to their Twitter and Instagram pages, while other rumors of their relationship developed.
Reports even suggested that the two intended to spend the New Year together at the Barbados villa where Rihanna celebrated Christmas.
The public displays soon came to a head when rumors began to circulate that Brown was spending time with his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, that the two were back together, and that he and Rihanna were no longer speaking.
Rihanna then tweeted a postcard that read, “Being single sucks. The only thing I get to do is whatever the [expletive] I want to do.”
At the basketball game, the two gave each other some personal space as they sat with their arms crossed around themselves, occasionally leaning in to exchange words, but the photos displayed none of the closeness they had been flaunting to fans recently.
