Rihanna and Chris Brown back together and performing duet at SupaFest 2012?
Ever since Rihanna and Chris Brown collaborated on remixes of each other's tracks "Birthday Cake" and "Turn Up The Music," fans and media have been speculating that the two R&B stars were dating again in secret, following their notorious 2009 breakup after Chris Brown punched Rihanna repeatedly while driving his car (according to the police report). Now the news is leaking that RiRi and Breezy may be reuniting on stage this Summer at the SupaFest music festival in Brisbane, Australia. REUTERS

Rihanna became no less than a role model for her fans after she courageously walked out of an abusive relationship with Chris Brown in 2009. The 24-year-old Barbadian singer even came out with music videos like Man Down and We found Love, with themes that inspire and give courage to women to walk out of abusive relationships.

But after three years of separation is she really going back to someone who at one time did not respect her and physically abused her? While Rihanna may have moved on, it is hard for fans to forget the graphic images of the singer with the bruised face and swollen blue lips. The singer, in spite of what happened, seems to be heading towards a reconciliation with her ex. Also, doesn't Chris's girlfriend Karrueche Tran have a problem? Apparently, no!

Both the singers recently collaborated for the making of a raunchy, suggestive new remix, Birthday Cake.

It seems Tran prefers turning a blind eye to these events. According to a report in Radar Online, Chris is free to see other people.

Karrueche isn't stupid, and she has told friends that they have an open relationship, the gossip site quoted a source as saying.

She never asks him about Rihanna, ever. Chris will take several days to call her back at times, and that is OK with Karrueche. She doesn't pressure or hound Chris; it's just not what she is about. She recognizes that they are both young, and she isn't going to let the fact Chris is spending time with his ex-girlfriend come between what they have, the source adds.

Well that sounds quite mature. Doesn't it? But it remains to be seen if Rihanna, someone who has a public image of being pretty independent, would actually get back with her abusive ex.
