Rihanna And Drake ‘Secretly’ Dating? Why Couple Wants To Keep Relationship ‘Private’

Fans hoping Drake and Rihanna would rekindle their romance may have gotten their wish. A new report claims the rapper and Barbadian singer are definitely back together but want to keep their relationship out of the spotlight.

A source close to Drake, 29, and Rihanna, 28, told People magazine the pair has been “secretly dating for months.” The source also said Drake and the “Kiss It Better” singer are purposefully hiding their romance because “this time around, they want to do it right and keep their relationship private.”

As previously reported, Drake and Rihanna have been the subject of dating rumors for weeks after they were spotted hanging out together and putting on steamy performances at Rihanna’s concerts for her "Anti" world tour. On Wednesday, the “Hotline Bling” rapper surprised Rihanna fans when he came out on stage to help her perform their song “Work” off her new album. During the show, Rihanna grabbed Drake’s jacket and pulled him close to her as he smiled and hugged her.

The Daily Mail reported the pair were seen at the Nice Guy in Los Angeles shortly after the show with a group of people. Rihanna and Drake also flaunted their PDA at her shows in Miami and Toronto.

This week, Drake talked about his chemistry with Rihanna, saying on his Beats 1 Radio OVO Sound that they weren’t “forcing the story.” He explained, “We have genuine energy between us. We do great music together … I think [our chemistry is] what makes the records better.”

Drake and Rihanna were first linked as a couple in 2009 and were rumored to have dated off and on since then.
