Rihanna Goes Ultra-Glam In Dior 'Secret Garden' Campaign At Palace Of Versailles In France

Fans got a sneak peek of Rihanna’s Dior campaign. The “Secret Garden IV” campaign shows the singer in a sexier and ultra-glamorous avatar. The singer was announced as Dior’s latest brand ambassador in March. It's the first time that the French fashion house has featured a black woman as its brand ambassador. She follows celebs like Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard and Jennifer Lawrence in the role.

RiRi took to Instagram and Facebook to share a few preview images of the ad shoot on Thursday. The print and film campaigns have been shot by renowned photographer Steven Klein at the Palace of Versailles, France. The ads mark the fourth installment of the brand’s “Secret Garden” video series and show the pop star in a fantasylike sequence, wandering around the palace and running up the famous staircase.

Rihanna shared four pictures from the ad campaign on Instagram and even a teaser video clip. Even Dior shared the images and video clip on its official Instagram. All the pictures have an element of darkness, mystery and ultra-glamour in it. It shows “Bad Girl” dressed in gorgeous and feminine Dior clothes and high-gloss accessories. “Rihanna’s mystery and intrigue, combined with her razor-sharp looks and sensibility, are the essential, perfect elements to create the stage for Secret Garden,” Klein said in the statement.

The ads show Rihanna getting up close and personal with her much-loved Dior Diorama handbag. The singer has been spotted with her chic favorite arm candy on several occasions. The pop princess looks glamorous in red lipstick and matching talons. She is pictured wearing a veil covered in crystals, leather gloves and a fur dress with a neckline down to the top of her ribs. One photo features the singer running in a floor-sweeping red gown through the Hall of Mirrors. As reported by the Daily Star UK in March, a New York producer on the shoot posted and tagged shots of the 27-year-old on Facebook, revealing the news far in advance of the official announcement. Another shot shows Rihanna in a glimmering silver gown.
