Rihanna The Reason Behind Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran Breakup? Tran Changes Her Number Following Split: Report

Even when Rihanna and Chris Brown are not together, she still is on his mind, and Karrueche Tran is not pleased. Earlier this week, Brown "liked" a photo of his ex-girlfriend on Instagram, which allegedly led to his latest breakup with the 25-year-old model.

TMZ reports that Tran dumped Brown after he liked photos of him and Rihanna together on the social media site. She even changed her phone number so he could no longer contact her. But in addition to that, Tran had long been unhappy because the singer “acts immature, like a child.” She thinks he is messing his life up by focusing more on partying than his career.

On Sunday, the 25-year-old Brown liked a photoshopped photo on Instagram of him and his ex, the Barbadian stunner. The black-and-white picture, posted on the account @mzfamebreezy, shows Brown and Rihanna lying together on a bed. Understandably, that was too much for Tran to deal with, considering she has already gone through getting dumped so he could go back to Rihanna.

Just a few weeks ago, Tran could not hold back her tears when speaking about Brown. On the talk show “Just Keke,” the 26-year-old model/singer opened up about her boyfriend and his relationship with Rihanna, whom he has dated on-and-off since 2008. During a preview, host Keke Palmer asked Tran how she dealt with her newfound fame from dating the star singer.

“I've never dated a celebrity before, so it was very new to me. Paparazzi and all that,” Tran said, adding that a “level head and positivity” helped her deal with the new experience.

“And then, even the situation with Rihanna, you know the reason why people tuned in to this so much was because it's relatable. I have girlfriends, I have family who've gone through the same situation. It's the case of the ex. We all go through it, do you know what I'm saying?” she said.

“But in this case my boyfriend is a celebrity whose ex-girlfriend is an even bigger. ... So, not only am I fighting a battle with her, I'm fighting a battle with her 14 million fans,” Tran added.

But if Brown is saddened by the latest breakup, it isn’t showing. He hosted a party in St. Tropez on Thursday, and spent a couple of days hanging out on a yacht with a bevy of beauties.
