Rihanna's 24 Hours In London
Rihanna had a “whirlwind” 24 hours in London, the Daily Mail reports that included two performances and a £500,000 payday.
Flying in on her 777 tour plane Monday, the singer began her rendezvous in the UK with a business meeting to collect her payment for holiday appearance.
Later that evening, she turned on the Christmas lights at London's Westfield Stratford City shopping center.
She kept her look modest, wearing a blue and grey-stripped pants set with an oversized blue jacket.
She was reportedly an hour late for the event and left the 20,000 spectators disappointed as she sang only one song, the lead single from her latest album, “Diamonds.”
Following the lighting, Rihanna was off to perform a private gig at Kentish Town Forum in London where she gyrated for a crowd of 2,500 that included Stella McCartney, Chloe Moretz, Leigh-Anne Pinnock of Little Mix, and performed several of her hit songs.
She switched up her look to a matching shirt and pants set decorated with hands holding a cigarette with an animal print crop top, according to the Daily Mail.
Her celebrity spectators were a lot more pleased with her performance than the previous crowd.
Pinnok tweeted after the show, “Ahhhh shes just amazing! Wow... I'm inspired.. :) x Leigh #RiRi was just amazing x.”
Following the set, Rihanna took some down time and hung out with the former X Factor star, as well as designer Stella McCartney and British model and socialite Cara Delevingne.
They relaxed together and took photos before Rihanna went to get a few hours sleep and was up at 6 a.m. Tuesday to continue her “777 tour,” which consists of playing seven locations in seven days, to promote her new album, “Unapologetic.”
She stopped to chat with fans before boarding her plane to New York for the final 777 show.
