Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad Act Upsets Pastor, Fans Praying for Troubled Star
Rihanna's rumored reunion with Chris Brown has apparently worried her former religious mentor, who highly disapproves her current lifestyle, The Sun reported.
A lot of people have been praying for her and hoping that she will drop these bad habits, Bishop Vibert Lowe reportedly told the British-based publication. The clergyman preached at the church Rihanna and her family regularly attended during her pre-stardom years in the Caribbean islands.
The Bishop voiced his concern on the star's reunion with Brown, who has in the past abused her repeatedly. He's not the correct influence on her life, he said. Lowe also added that Rihanna is not setting a good example for many fans who regard her as their idol.
His concerns are also shared by several others in her native Barbados, who believe that the 24-year-old singer parties excessively and may also be involved in drug abuse, the report said.
Phil Bloch, a Hollywood stylist who worked with Rihanna several times in the past, believes the S&M star is highly disturbed and may have lost herself out to fame.
She's talented and beautiful, but puts herself in dangerous situations, the stylist was quoted as saying to the publication.
According to reports, Rihanna apparently reconnected with Brown and exchanged love tweets in December last year. Although the singer has not admitted her alleged relationship with Brown, reports that the two may have been secretly dating are on for some time. Several reports suggest that the hip-hop stars may have taken their relationship to the next level and may officially tie the knot some time soon. So far, both Rihanna and Brown have not commented on these rumors.
