'The Rising Of The Shield Hero' Season 2, Episode 9 Live Stream Details, Spoilers

Naofumi Iwatani and his friends are set to meet a Vassal Weapon Holder in "The Rising of the Shield Hero" Season 2, Episode 9. The upcoming episode is titled "Humming Fairy."

The official website has released the synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 9. Naofumi and the others meet Ethnobalt, who is the holder of the Vassal Boat.

Ethnobalt tells them that a shikigami catalyzed by Raphtalia's hair and Naofumi's blood will appear soon.

In the last episode, Kizuna used her Vassal Weapon to allow herself, Rishia, Naofumi and Raphtalia to catapult to the other side of the wall and beyond the forest.

The Shield interface showed that Naofumi's party had 10 days before the next Wave and Filo's whereabouts remained unknown. Later, Naofumi and his comrades headed toward Mikakage to use the Dark Hourglass.

They needed the hourglass to teleport to Sikul. Kizuna explained the various uses of the Dark Hourglass and one of them was teleportation.

"Naofumi's party heads for the Dragon Hourglass of Mikakage, in order to get to Sikul, the country that summoned Kizuna. Along the way, he sells rare healing items to make a hefty profit. He hears a rumor about a genius mage…," read the official synopsis of "The Rising of the Shield Hero" Season 2, Episode 8, according to Crunchyroll.

The cast of the anime includes Asami Seto as Raphtalia, Kaito Ishikawa as Naofumi, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Ren Amaki, Yoshitaka Yamaya as Itsuki Kawasumi, Rina Hidaka as Filo, Kana Hanazawa as Ost Horai, Kikuko Inoue as Mirellia Q. Melromarc, Maaya Uchida as Melty Q. Melromarc, Makoto Takahashi as Motoyasu Kitamura and Natsuko Hara as Rishia Ivyred.

The series is based on the original work of Yusagi Aneko and Seira Minami. The opening theme of "The Rising of the Shield Hero" Season 2, titled "Bring Back," is performed by MADKID. The ending theme, called "Yuzurenai," is by Chiai Fujikawa.

"The Rising of the Shield Hero" Season 2, Episode 9 is releasing Wednesday. Fans in the U.S. can watch the second season on Crunchyroll. The new episode will stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
