Rita Ora, Taika Waititi Make Red Carpet Debut As Couple At 'The Suicide Squad' Premiere
Couple alert! Rita Ora and Taika Waititi seem ready to take their relationship to the next level. The pair arrived hand-in-hand at the premiere of "The Suicide Squad" in Los Angeles on Monday.
They happily posed for the shutterbugs with their arms intertwined, sporting broad smiles.
Ora looked stunning in an Azzi & Osta white suit dress with a plunging neckline and an open back. She accessorized herself with glittering silver heels and diamond earrings and wore her hair in a sleek ponytail. Complementing the "Body On Me" singer's sleek suit dress, the "Thor Ragnarok" director wore a crisp grey suit with a white shirt and black dress shoes.
This is their first public appearance at an event as a couple. Ora and Waititi first sparked dating rumors in April when the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" actress shared a candid shot of them hugging on Instagram.
"Good times, memories, random things on my phone and the ones I love," she captioned it and added a red heart emoji.
The following month, the couple landed in controversy after someone spotted them having a cozy snuggle session with actress Tessa Thompson. Waititi, who was busy filming for "Thor: Love And Thunder" in Sydney back then, was seen kissing both Ora and Thompson, who played Valkyrie in the movie.
Twitter users were quick to speculate if the trio was in a polyamorous relationship. But the 27-year-old actress was seen kissing Australian model Zac Stenmark the same day, confusing everyone.
The "Jojo Rabbit" director brushed off the incident in an interview with Sydney Morning Herald, saying there was "nothing wrong."
"I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick. And also, 'is it that big a deal?' No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It's fine," he commented.
Waititi split from his wife Chelsea Winstanley in 2018 after seven years. They share two kids. Ora was linked to Calvin Harris and Andrew Watt in the past.
