Rita's Italian Ice is offering a free regular Italian ice to all customers in their 20th annual celebration of the first day of Spring 2012 on Tuesday until 9 p.m.

The Trevose, PA-based company, which is the nation's largest Italian Ice concept with 550 stores nationwide, is celebrating the 20th annual Free Ice Giveaway for spring until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20, 2012.

Customers can snag a free Regular Ice of their choice and choose between traditional Italian Ice made with real fruit in over 50 flavors including Cherry, Alex's Lemonade, Mango, Swedish Fish®, Kiwi-Strawberry and Island Fusion, to name a few.

We are excited to celebrate our twentieth year of the first day of spring by debuting our first ever TV spots and welcoming our Guests to enjoy a Free Rita's Ice, CEO Jonathan Fornaci said in a press release.

Rita's Italian Ice has been celebrating the Free Ice giveaway day annually since 1992 through its motto, Ice, Custard, Happiness.

In addition to the free Italian ice giveaway, Rita's will introduce new flavors for the first day of spring 2012, including Snickers and Wonka Nerds Mic-ins for the Cool Blendini Treat in any flavor custard.
