‘Riverdale’ Season 1 Spoilers: Polly Decides On Where She Will Raise Her Baby [RECAP]

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 8 recently saw Polly (Tiera Skovbye) deciding where she will raise her unborn baby.

In “Chapter Eight: The Outsiders,” Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) organized a baby shower for Polly. The well-attended event did not end on a positive note after the Blossoms arrived. Jason (Trevor Stines) and Cheryl’s (Madelaine Petsch) mom, Penelope (Nathalie Boltt), confronted Alice (Madchen Amick) about throwing Polly out of their house when Jason got her pregnant. This discussion made Polly realize that she isn’t safe in her own home.

After the Blossoms left, Alice told Polly that she wants her back at their home. But Polly said that even her dad, Hal (Lochlyn Murno), wants her unborn baby to be aborted. Towards the end of the episode, Polly decided to stay with the Blossoms until she gives birth. After all, her baby is also related to them.

Elsewhere in the episode, Fred (Luke Perry) lost all of his people at the construction company, and his son, Archie (KJ Apa), offered to help him out. Unfortunately, the Southside Serpents were not happy with Archie and his friends’ decision to help Fred, so they decided to hurt one of their members.

When Archie confronted the Southside Serpents, he discovered that Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) dad, FP (Skeet Ulrich), is a member of the dangerous group. But FP proved his loyalty to Fred, Archie and Jughead when he called Fred to rescue his son even before he could get beaten up by the enemies.

In the end, FP decided to give Fred his services once again, and he agreed. But just before Fred’s fling, Hermione (Marisol Nichols), could thank FP, the latter said that he knows the truth about Hermione’s relationship with Fred. Hermione’s husband is in jail, but they are not separated.
