‘Riverdale’ Spoilers: Does Jughead Know About His Dad’s Involvement In Jason’s Murder In Episode 8?

“Riverdale” Season 1, episode 8 may reveal some shocking information about Jughead (Cole Sprouse) and his dad, FP (Skeet Ulrich).

In the previous episode, Jughead’s alcoholic father promised his son that he will straighten out his act so that he could be proud of him. When they arrived home, it was revealed that FP has been keeping Jason’s (Trevor Stines) jacket. The latter passed away a few months ago, and police officials have been investigating who could be responsible for his murder.

By the looks of it, FP has something to do with Jason’s demise, and Jughead is aware of this. The latter is very protective of his father, but in “Chapter Eight: The Outsiders,” Jughead’s secret will be revealed, and he will be extremely worried about how his friends will react.

Elsewhere in the episode, Archie’s (KJ Apa) dad, Fred (Luke Perry), loses his crew just before a major construction he’s leading commences. Wanting to help his dad, Archie will seek the support of his friends. Unfortunately, one of them will be attacked, and Archie and his group will try to fight back. This will lead them to Southside Serpent’s territory.

Meanwhile, Betty (Lili Reinhart) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) will try to cheer up Polly (Tiera Skovbye) by organizing a baby shower for her. Polly doesn’t like the idea because she is aware that she has a bad reputation in their community. Polly and Jason were in a relationship, and they had plans to elope. However, this did not materialize because Jason was killed even before he could rescue Polly from a religious facility.
