‘Road Trip Romance’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Hallmark Channel’s lineup of new movies for Spring is continuing, with the newest premiere, “Road Trip Romance.” The film, which stars Natalie Hall and Corey Sevier, debuts Saturday night.
The film will be a treat for fans as it will reunite them with two familiar faces, though they have not yet worked together in a Hallmark film. Hall previously starred in the network’s “A Winter Princess,” “You’re Bacon Me Crazy” and “Fit For a Prince.” Meanwhile, Sevier starred in “Heart of the Holidays,” as well as Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Northern Lights of Christmas.”
What can fans expect in this film? Let’s find out.
“Megan (Hall) loves her sister Blair (Julia Borsellino), who is getting married in three days in Wichita. As the maid of honor, Margo needs to be there for the bachelorette party, the rehearsal dinner and the big event...but her trip hits a disastrous parade of events,” a synopsis reads. “Traveling with her is Alden (Sevier), who was a constant thorn in her side in high school, where they competed in everything from the debate club to pep squad. Alden needs to get to Wichita for his dad’s retirement celebration. Traveling together, they slowly realize how much they have in common and how that high school rivalry masked a strong mutual attraction.”
However, the road trip also presents some major problems for Megan at home, as her sister feels she may not make it in time, which could cause Megan to lose out on her role.
“Meanwhile in Wichita, Blair goes through the steps of preparing for marriage without her sister there to act as maid of honor,” the synopsis continues. “Blair’s friend Della (Elana Dunkelman), steps in and increasingly falls in love with the idea of being maid of honor for real. Will Megan and Alden make it to Wichita in time? Will Della be willing to step aside?”
“Road Trip Romance” airs Saturday, May 14 at 8 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
