Rob Kardashian Checks In With Bruce Jenner And Makes His Presence Felt On 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'
In the most recent episode of E!'s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Bruce Jenner spent some quality time with stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian as well as Scott Disick. The three took a road trip to Pismo Beach to drive some dune buggies. In a deleted scene shared by E! Online, Bruce didn’t just get a chance to bond with Khloe and Scott, he also had a nice chat with Robert Kardashian, who has been absent from the show for some time.
For nearly two years, Rob has hardly been seen on the family’s reality shows. He made some short appearances during Seasons 8 and 9 of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” but has since been mostly missing in action.
It is no secret that Rob has been going through some tough personal issues, including weight problems and depression. In the video shared by E! Online, Rob calls Khloe to say hello and he has a short but sweet moment with stepfather Bruce.
While Bruce, Khloe and Scott ride in an SUV together, Khloe receives a call from Rob. She is clearly excited and tells him that she’s in the vehicle with their stepdad Bruce and Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott. Rob immediately addresses Bruce and says, “What’s cooking, good-looking?”
Bruce responds and says that they are heading out to ride some dune buggies and going off-road driving over at Pismo Beach. He also says that Rob should have joined them. Rob responds by saying that the three of them have a solid crew together. They caught up a little bit with each other and discussed the trip.
After Rob hangs up, Bruce asks Khloe the real question: “How’s he doing?” Khloe says that her brother seemed to be in a good mood that morning, but it has been a recurring theme in the shows that Rob has been dealing with depression and other personal issues. Earlier this season, the family even attempted to stage an intervention at Khloe’s house, where Rob is currently staying.
There will be more updates about his progress and his condition in upcoming episodes of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” The series airs 9 p.m. Sundays on E!
