Rob Kardashian Makes Rare Public Appearance, Spotted Driving Khloé Kardashian's Car In Los Angeles
Rob Kardashian, known to be somewhat reclusive, has been spotted out in public for the first time since June 19. The youngest of the Kardashian siblings has been largely withdrawn from the public eye since putting on close to 100 pounds. New reports suggest, however, that Lamar Odom's hospitalization may have drawn him out of hiding.
As was reported by People magazine Rob, 28, was seen driving around Los Angeles in older sister Khloé Kardashian's Range Rover Monday night. The sighting came not long after it was reported that Odom, 35, had been airlifted to a hospital in California. It remains unclear where Rob was headed in the vehicle.
According to ESPN, Odom, Khloé's estranged husband, was transferred to a hospital in Los Angeles around 8 p.m. EDT. He was being kept in a private room at the facility. According to a statement issued by his aunt and godmother he was "defying the odds in his toughest battle to date." As we previously reported doctors ran several tests on Odom, all of which he passed. He was said to be verbally communicating with Khloé, 30, and using hand signals to communicate with others. It was also reported that Odom was able to move from his hospital bed with help. He will reportedly suffer lasting kidney damage, which will require dialysis.
Odom was hospitalized Oct. 13 after being found unconscious inside Love Ranch South, a legal brothel in Pahrump, Nevada. He was found by a female employee of the facility who immediately called 911. She told the operator there was a mucus-like substance and blood coming from his nose and mouth, adding that she wasn't certain he was breathing. A later 911 call from manager Richard Hunter revealed that he was breathing, saying it sounded as though he was snoring. Odom was then taken to Desert View Hospital where he was assessed further and discharged to Sunrise Hospital. He was in a coma for four days before opening his eyes and reportedly speaking to Khloé.
