Rob Kardashian Returns To Reality TV? Kim Reportedly Tried To Film Weight Gain Intervention For ‘KUWTK’
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Rob Kardashian hasn’t been on the reality show for years, but Kim Kardashian West tried to film his intervention for the E! series, Radar Online wrote in an exclusive report Friday. Rob might be “more responsive” to the help if cameras were rolling.
The only Kardashian brother has continued to live an unhealthy lifestyle -- even though he has gained more than 100 pounds and was diagnosed with diabetes last month. He was told he needs to stop eating junk, but Rob continues to pound energy drinks and fast food, the source told Radar Online.
“The diabetes diagnosis should have been a wake-up call for Rob, but he is in absolute denial about it,” the source said. “He refuses to monitor his blood sugar daily as doctors have told him to do. Even more frustrating is that Rob’s diabetes would likely go away if he began working out and eating healthy!”
Even though Kim thought it would be beneficial to have the intervention filmed, Khloé Kardashian was skeptical. “Khloé wasn’t in favor of it, but agreed to be there. Kourtney wasn’t there, and neither were Kendall or Kylie.”
It turned out Khloé was right to be dubious. “As soon as Rob walked in Kris’ house, he realized what was about to go down and just walked right out the front door,” the insider said. Then, Rob, 28, didn’t talk to anyone for days. “He refused to pick-up his phone for several days, and nobody knew where he was,” the anonymous person added.
While Khloé, 31, wasn’t a fan of the intervention idea, she thought it would be best for her brother to go to the gym with her. "I told Rob a while back: the best form of revenge is a good body. It's a little silly but true. There is literally no downfall to working out your blues in the gym! You'll feel better, and the by-product will be a fierce bod that's bound to make your ex do a double-take,” she wrote on her website Jan. 7.
