Rob Lowe’s two-word comment on Twitter has drawn criticism.

The "Parks and Recreation" actor reacted to news that the body of Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev has been rejected for burial by the city of Cambridge with the words “love it” on Twitter.

“I know what he is accused of doing is inexcusable, but it is immature and heartless to deny him burial. He's still a person,” Emily Vidovich tweeted.

Others disagree.

“He is not a person you liberal #sicko, appeasing the terrorists got us the Boston bombers, dummy,” Macaque tweeted in response.

On Sunday, Cambridge city officials said the city cemetery would reject Tsarnaev’s remains.

The difficult and stressful efforts of the citizens of the city of Cambridge to return to a peaceful life would be adversely impacted by the turmoil, protests and widespread media presence at such an interment," Cambridge City Manager Bob Healy said in a statement provided to the Los Angeles Times. "The families of loved ones interred in the Cambridge Cemetery also deserve to have their deceased family members rest in peace."

Lowe isn’t the only celebrity making unorthodox comments about the bombing.

Two days after capturing the second bombing suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, musician and artist Amanda Palmer wrote a controversial poem for him.

Entitled “A Poem for Dzhokhar,” the former Dresden Dolls singer appears to sympathize with the 19-year-old suspect.

Shortly after the attacks, conservative commentator Erik Rush tweeted, “Everybody do the National Security Ankle Grab! Let’s bring more Saudis in without screening them! C’mon!”

He has since deleted the tweet.
