Robbie Williams to receive career award at BRITs
British singer Robbie Williams will receive a career prize at the 30th BRIT music awards in London next year, organizers said on Thursday.
The 35-year-old former member of boy band Take That has already won 11 BRIT awards as a solo artist, and recently staged a comeback performing his new single Bodies on national television.
His new album Reality Killed the Video Star hits shelves on November 9 on EMI's Virgin Record.
Williams will take the stage at the BRIT awards on February 16, bringing the curtain down on the 30th anniversary of the ceremony which is broadcast on television.
Williams has won 11 BRITs -- Britain's top pop music awards -- as a solo artist and four as a member of Take That.
