Robert Enke dies at 32 in a suspected suicide
The goalkeeper to play for Germany at the upcoming world cup in 2010 has died after being hit by a train, the Associated Press reported.
The cause of death according to police is suspected to be a suicide.
The 32-year-old goalkeeper is survived by his wife and an eight month daughter the couple had adopted in May.
The couple had a 2-year-old daughter who they lost in 2006 to a rare heart condition.
We are all shocked, said Germany's general manager Oliver Bierhoff said in Bonn. We are lost for words.
