Robert Pattinson And Liberty Ross Had Awkward Coachella Encounter: Report

Nobody enjoys running into an ex, but how about running into the ex-wife of the man your former girlfriend allegedly cheated on you with. Awkward!

According to a report from E! News, “Twilight” star Robert Pattinson, 27, not only spent time at Coachella this past weekend with his rumored fling Katy Perry, but he is also rumored to have run into model and actress Liberty Ross, the ex-wife of “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. For those not in the know, Pattinson’s ex-girlfriend, actress Kristen Stewart, allegedly cheated with Ross’ former husband in 2012, an affair which is rumored to have resulted in the end of the “Twilight” co-stars' three-year romance.

“[They] didn’t speak to each other but both definitely saw each other,” a source revealed, adding that the duo were cordial with one another at H&M’s Loves Music party this weekend despite the uncomfortable encounter. “[It was] extremely awkward [but] he was cool, she was cool and they just kept moving along,” added the eyewitness.

Ross, 35, who filed for divorce from Sanders, 43, last January, spoke out about her ex-husband’s affair with the film star in Vanity Fair’s December 2013 issue, with Ross calling the entire experience “horrible.” “It was really the worst,” she said. “I have no words to describe what we went through.” Despite the heartbreak, Ross, who starred alongside Stewart in the “Snow White” film, claims she did not regret her marriage to Sanders as it resulted in their two children, Skyla and Tennyson. “We were together for 16 years and that in itself is really beautiful and we’ve created two exceptional lives together,” said Ross.

Following the release of photos of Stewart and Sanders' rendezvous in July 2012, Stewart released a public apology, labeling her romance with the then-married filmmaker as an embarrassment. “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” said Stewart.

While never officially announcing their separation, Pattinson and Stewart are rumored to have called their relationship quits last May due to issues stemming from the actress’ affair. Despite their rumored breakup, the duo were spotted enjoying quality time together in Los Angeles in October.
