Robert Pattinson 'Suspicious' About Shia LaBeouf, FKA Twigs Being Together Rumor Debunked

Rumors that claimed Shia LaBeouf was dating FKA Twigs to “get back” at Robert Pattinson for becoming “close" to his ex-wife Mia Goth were not true, according to a report on Gossip Cop.

An article by Hollywood Life mentioned how Pattinson found it suspicious his ex-fiancée was now dating his co-star’s ex-husband. Hollywood Life quoted an “exclusive” anonymous source close to Pattinson for the scoop.

Gossip Cop debunked the rumor by pointing out how, in a previous article about Pattinson’s supposed reaction to LaBeouf dating FKA Twigs, the site forgot to mention about Goth and Pattinson starring together in “High Life.” The site also neglected its previous claims that Pattinson was getting cozy with Goth when the cameras were not rolling.

According to the repeatedly disproven blog Hollywood Life, the anonymous source said, “Rob and Mia worked on a movie together last year and became very close, there were a lot of rumors going around about them being more than just friends. There was never any real proof that they hooked-up or anything like that, and they both firmly denied it, but the whole thing absolutely bothered Shia.”

Hollywood Life failed to mention the rumor that the two were dating was made up by the site itself, Gossip Cop noted.

The source added, “Those close to Rob find it suspect that Shia now going after Rob’s ex, a lot of people in Rob’s circle question whether he’s dating Twigs to try and get back at Rob.”

The site also repeatedly misspelled LaBeouf’s name as LeBeouf throughout the article.

An insider told Gossip Cop that Pattinson did not believe LaBeouf was trying to get back at him as he and Goth never actually got “cozy” or dated.

On Monday, Daily Mail reported LaBeouf was dating FKA Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnet. After splitting from his wife Goth, LaBeouf started seeing his “Honey Boy” co-star, according to the report. They were pictured together leaving her house.

“Everybody in their circle knows that Mia and Shia are separating,” a close friend of Goth told Daily Mail. “She's spending her time between London and New York while he's currently in London. Mia had been having some problems with Shia. It was a very crazy relationship and he is very fiery. She has told her friends that she can't take any more. When he was preparing for a part, Mia would keep away from him and move out because his rehearsals were so intense.”

"Shia and Mia have filed for divorce," LaBeouf’s representative said in a statement. "The separation is amicable and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private."
