Roblox Egg Hunt 2017 is on the horizon, and many players are hungry for more details. We’ll be getting some very soon, but, until that news arrives, here’s a recap of the leaks, gear and major updates.

THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT AND BASIC DETAILS

On March 17, the fine folks at Roblox broke their silence to unveil the first update regarding Roblox Egg Hunt 2017. For those who haven’t heard of the yearly festivity before, it’s a time when dozens of eggs are dropped into various Roblox worlds. Because there are so many worlds to choose from, locating eggs can actually be quite difficult. If you find one, it can serve as a hat for your avatar.

According to the brand new event trailer, Egg Hunt 2017 will run April 4 - 17. After that time the base content will remain active, but the eggs will be gone.

In terms of egg counts, Roblox has promised more than 40 different eggs with some of them being more secretive than others. In fact, eagle-eyed fans have noticed references to Meep City in website code already. That game might be a solid place to start your search.

THE LEAKED EGGS WE KNOW SO FAR

Officially, Roblox has only announced the Seal Egg, Pirate Egg and Volcano Egg, but the RBXLeaks Twitter account has shown off images of many more. Here’s the full list of eggs dating back to March 1.

These leaks were likely obtained via data mining, so, as such, they should be taken with a grain of salt. Just because they are in the files, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll be used when the final version of the event is deployed.

WHAT ABOUT GEAR LEAKS FOR ROBLOX EGG HUNT 2017?

In addition to eggs, players will also be able to snag some exclusive gear too. For the sake of brevity, here’s a summary of what’s been unearthed so far.

  • A Neon set: with a crown, tie, queen bunny mask,DJ headphones, multiple hairstyles and sunglasses
  • Dragon slayer gear
  • Smurfs gear
  • St. Patrick’s Day gear
  • War Mech gear
  • A bug set: with hats, glasses, ties, a scarf, pins, nets and more
  • Dinosaur gear
  • Bunny ears

There will probably be more content along the way, but this is what we’ve seen from recent analyses.
