Updated 11/29, 10:15 a.m. EST: This story has been updated to reflect that Matt Lauer will no longer be hosting the show following his firing from NBC News for inappropriate sexual conduct.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and New York City surely knows how makes a big deal out of celebrating the holiday season. This week, Rockefeller Center will have its 85th annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, hosted by NBC’s “Today” anchors Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker. Former cohost Matt Lauer, who was initially set to host alongside them, will no longer be a part of the broadcast following his firing from NBC News on Nov. 28 for alleged innapropriate sexual conduct in the workplace.

While the ceremony, known as “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” is a big deal, everyone may not be able to tune into the Wednesday night special. For those who will not have access to a television when the event airs at 8 p.m. EST, there are several ways to live stream the tree lighting.

Viewers can live stream the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting by going to NBC Live, where they will need to log in using their cable provider to gain access to the event, or they can use the NBC App, where they can also live stream the ceremony.

For those without cable providers, there is also a streaming service called Fubo that allows you to stream your favorite channels. Although the Fubo Premier plan is $19.99 for the first two months, customers are given a seven day free trial which they can cancel at any time.

Lighting the tree will just be one of the many things that take place on the night dedicated to Christmas festivities. Several stars are expected to hit the stage to celebrate the holiday season.

Some of the performers include Gwen Stefani and The Tenors, Jennifer Nettles, Leslie Odom Jr., Pentatonix, and Brett Eldredge. While additional acts are expected to be announced, People revealed that “Moana” star Auli’i Cravalho, Seal, Harry Connick Jr. and Train have been added to the list of performers.

The guest of honor for the night will be the 12-ton Norway spruce that was cut down in State College, Pennsylvania. The tree is around 75 feet tall and is expected to be decorated with more than 50,000 lights and a 9 foot tall Swarovski star.

The tree will remain lit and on display until 9 p.m on Jan. 7. “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” will air on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
