Rockstar India Informant Spills New Details On 'GTA VI', 'Bully 2'

If there's one thing Grant Theft Auto fans aren't going to get tired of, it's the slew of news about the successor of GTA V.

Although these are not official revelations from Rockstar Games, each rumor feeds their anticipation and continuously builds the hype of one of the most storied gaming titles of modern times.

Will they get tired of it? It's highly unlikely, because some take each note by heart, especially now that a new speculation centered on several key details about the GTA VI and the similarly sought after game, Bully 2.

The leak, which was reported by Dexerto, came in the form of a post by CurryLav. The Reddit user claimed that he has “some reliable info” from his source who works for Rockstar India and yes, it pointed to some juicy content regarding the development of GTA VI.

It said Grand Theft Auto VI started its “full capacity development” in 2018 while its concept began in late 2013. The game's initial development came after the release of GTA V on PC, which was somewhere in June 2015.

While Rockstar Games code named GTA VI as “Project Americas,” the source pointed that RockStar India does not have a “huge role” in its development, but it is appointed to Rockstar North.

Bully 2, meanwhile, is a different story as it is “dependant” on Rockstar India. The info also pointed that there will be two Bully 2 versions available: one for the PlayStation 4 and the other for the PC. The latter version will have ray-tracing option, too.

However, the post's pi è ce de r é sistance centered on the fact that GTA VI will supposedly take place in Vice City. Not only that, GTA VI will also cover the location's nearby swamps and cities as well as several islands that are “far away from the main island.”

The Reddit user said that his source saw the map concept and described it to be bigger than GTA V. The swamps should be located on the left middle of the map, while the city is still at the center. The big island will fall on the far right.

Mechanics of GTA VI will remain the same, but the Rockstar India source said that it will come with “extremely noticeable changes” and its story ending will be dependent on the player's decisions.
