  • Sources report that Roman Reigns was not pleased with Kevin Owens' unplanned spot during the match
  • The Bloodline left Survivor Series WarGames as the victors over Owens' side
  • Reigns and Owens are expected to be okay with one another following the reported issues

Survivor Series WarGames had WWE and pro wrestling fans buzzing on social media after the stellar main event match between Roman Reigns' Bloodline faction and the coalition of the Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion's side took home the victory and saw the rift between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn close up as the pair hugged it out after Zayn fully turned his back on Owens and committed to the Bloodline.

As the fans continue to talk about the fallout from the event last Saturday, November 26, Fightful Select reported that Reigns got frustrated with Owens during a supposedly unplanned spot in the match.

"It was rumored among those that we spoke with that Reigns took exception to what he perceived as an unplanned spot between he and Kevin Owens," the report said.

"As he walked backstage, he mentioned possibly having a ruptured ear drum, and wanted the spot to go as originally planned. The exclamation was said to have been 'expletive filled' and it was clear to everyone that Reigns wasn't happy."

The spot in question is currently unknown as the report did not reveal at what point in the match it happened.

Reigns and Owens were the proverbial final two men left standing inside the double-ring setup of the WarGames match at Survivor Series.

As Reigns was going for the spear, Owen countered it with a superkick and followed it up with a pop-up powerbomb before hitting The Tribal Chief" with a stunner and then attempting a pin.

Zayn interrupted the referee's count and it led to the sequence leading up to the Bloodline's eventual victory.

During the post-event press conference, Reigns was scheduled to appear then, but he did not attend and it led to Zayn and special adviser to the Bloodline Paul Heyman taking the stage.

This was a curious thing that some eagle-eyed fans took note of on social media when the press conference went live and Reigns' absence now appears to be due to him possibly suffering an injury.

It is currently unknown how badly Reigns was injured, or if there is any to speak of, though fans should have little to be worried about Reigns and his former title challenger having any issues backstage.

"We haven't heard of a physical altercation or an argument, and talent that we heard back from said that they expected the two (Reigns and Owens) to be able to coexist for work purposes," the report later added.
