  • He is also the leader of The Bloodline in WWE
  • The Bloodline will next appear on WWE Survivor Series

Roman Reigns has admitted that nobody has ever pushed him emotionally as much as his Bloodline stablemate Jey Uso.

Reigns, who has been the Universal Champion for over 800 days now, claimed the prestigious title at the Payback 2020 Premium Live Event when WWE ran its shows at the ThunderDome due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Following this, Reigns became the Undisputed WWE and Universal Champion when he bagged the WWE title at WrestleMania 38 by beating Brock Lesnar.

Jey Uso and Reigns currently share a close bond. Whenever the Tribal Chief makes a TV appearance on WWE, The Bloodline is at his side, which includes "Special Counsel" Paul Heyman, "Honorary Uce" Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso).

In 2020, after Reigns became the Universal Champion, he was briefly involved in a feud with Jey Uso, who was alone at the time as his brother was out of action after knee surgery. Reigns and Jey then faced off at Clash of the Champions and Hell in a Cell, which the former won. That was also the start of Reigns wanting everyone to "acknowledge" him as The Tribal Chief.

In a recent interview, Reigns revealed that since he and Jey Uso now share a strong relationship, they are comfortable talking about their past rivalry.

"I'm not going to dive into all the super backstage stuff, but there was no time to discuss. So there were a lot of instincts that were relied on. The fact that we have literally a brother-level connection and relationship, it made it really easy for us to just rely on our history and being comfortable with each other and also being able to push that type of emotion out of each other," Reigns said on The Ringer.

"I don't think anyone's ever pushed me emotionally like Jey has and I think we did that for each other and we made a star out of him," the Head of the Table added.
