Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks Appear On Super Bowl LIV Pre-Game Commercial

You may have come across a couple of WWE characters while watching Super Bowl LIV tonight. Those are legit. Believe that.

WWE stars Roman Reigns and Sasha Banks had their share of moments in the Super Bowl LIV when the two wrestling stars were part of the line-up of advertisement for the annual sporting event during the pre-game show on FOX Sports along with Jimmy Johnson, Troy Aikman, and others.

On her Instagram post, the 28-year old former Women’s Champion shared a photo of him and Reigns posing next to Cleatus, the FOX Sports robot. On her caption, the two were about to throw a Pizza party, in which they did.

Roman Reigns is a huge fan of San Francisco 49ers himself. He worked out at the 49ers SAP Training Facility in 2015 and was also interviewed to share his fandom for the Niners with 49ers Studios per the team’s website.

The former WWE Champion is a football player himself. Reigns, real name Joe Anoa’i, was undrafted in the 207 NFL Draft – the same draft class with former Detroit Lions’ Calvin Johnson, Cleveland Brown’s Joe Thomas, and the ineffective JaMarcus Russell. He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings but was released. He later found himself playing in the Canadian Football League for the Edmonton Eskimos and was able to play one season for them before ending his football career with nine tackles – five of them from a single game.

He later became a WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Universal Champion, Intercontinental Champion, US Champion, and a Royal Rumble in 2015 to name a few.

Banks, on the other hand, had rumors that she was supposed to be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble but was reportedly released by former WWE star Kelly Kelly per Ringside news. Before her injury in Hell in a Cell, the cousin of award-winning rapper Snoop Dogg has won the RAW Women’s Championship, NXT Women’s Championship, and a Tag Team title with Bayley.
