Brazil legend Ronaldinho is set to return in October and mentioned soccer stars he likes to play with.

For almost a decade, Ronaldinho played in Europe with PSG, Barcelona and AC Milan. During his time in Spain, he was considered to be the best footballer in the world.

Ronaldinho officially called it a career in 2015 after playing for a short period of time with Fluminense. Since then, the soccer icon has only been seen rarely in charity and some futsal games.

But in October, the legendary Samba star is coming out of retirement. The 39-year-old will reportedly play for Independiente Santa Fe on Oct. 17. For the match, Ronaldinho will be joining one of the most successful Colombian sides in history, Give Me Sport noted.

The club has won Colombia's Primera A division nine times, most recently in 2016. Since then, they have never been relegated from the top flight.

Ronaldinho's return opened up probably the most interesting question: will his appearance next month be a one-off? Or is he planning to return to soccer in the near future?

Ahead of his much awaited return, Ronaldinho named the players he would like to play with.

In a recent interview with Afrique Sports, Ronaldinho expressed his desire to play with a lot of great players in soccer. The soccer icon also mentioned Philippe Coutinho and Andres Iniesta as the two players he looks forward to and commented on Coutinho’s talents, Futaa reported.

"There are a lot of players I have not played with and I would have liked to play with them," Ronaldinho said.

"Coutinho is one of them. Iniesta and he are great players. They each have their own style, but I think Coutinho will be one of the big names in world football. He already is, but I think he will be more still,” Ronaldinho stated.

However, there's a chance Ronaldinho might not even be able to make his comeback game in October. He has recently had a number of properties seized and is currently facing a number of fines over unpaid taxes in Brazil.

Due to his troubles, his passport and Spanish citizenship have been confiscated. And this could mean that he can't leave his home country.

Aside from soccer, Ronaldinho also became engaged with a sport called Teqball. In an interview with CNN Sport, Ronaldinho admitted that he fell in love with the sport as soon as he discovered it.

"When I am at home, I play it everyday. Once I discovered it, I started playing regularly with my friends. Today in Brazil, nearly everybody plays it, on the beach or wherever,” Ronaldinho admitted.
