Ronna McDaniel Slammed On Twitter For Claiming Joe Biden Will Raise Taxes For 82% Of Americans
The Republican National Convention Chairwoman, Ronna McDaniel, is facing harsh criticisms on social media after she claimed on social media that Donald Trump’s Presidential opponent, Joe Biden, intended to raise taxes on the large bulk of Americans ahead of the election.
McDaniel, who was one of the members of the President’s inner circle to become afflicted with the Coronavirus following his own diagnosis, took to Twitter on Saturday to state that Joe Biden, the Democratic nominee who is favored to win the election, plans to use his first day in office to raise taxes on a whopping 82% of Americans. However, the claim was swiftly criticized as others pointed out other things the former Vice-President has said.
Joe Biden promised on Day 1 to raise taxes on 82% of Americans...in the middle of an economic recovery.

We cannot afford Biden!
Many quickly slammed McDaniel and called her a liar, as Biden has gone on the record to say that he isn’t going to raise taxes on anyone who makes less than $400,000 a year, meaning her math on the 82% was likely way off.
When you’re the @GOPChairwoman and you blatantly lie, it’s a bad look. We can smell your flop sweat off the internet, Ronna.

(Unless you think 82% of Americans make more than 400k) https://t.co/FLVvE5g728
Dear @GOP

Could you please share the information and data that shows 82% of Americans make over 400k
I won't hold my breath that would be suicidal if I did..
Where is the universe that 82% of Americans make more than 400k a year?! And how do i get there?! 😩😩😩

Lies. 82% of Americans do not make over $400,000 a year. When you have to lie to win, that means you’re losing.

Liar! 82% of America does not make over $400,000! Actually 82% of Americans make a lot less with the median household income is about $69,000 (depending on the state) and less than 1% make anything above $400,000. pic.twitter.com/fmyJMLY4PL

😶 You think 82% of Americans make $400k/year?

Are you severely misinformed and out of touch or are you lying? https://t.co/LQKyeyLNDQ
The median US income is $68,703. Since the Biden tax proposal will raise taxes only for Americans who make over $400,000, there is no way that it would raise taxes on 82% of Americans. You are a very bad liar, Ronna. pic.twitter.com/qYp9wMN5iQ

Another person pointed out that not only was McDaniel’s assertion wrong but also made note of different information that has come to light during Donald Trump's time in office, stating that it seemed more likely he was the one who Americans needed to be concerned about.
Ronna dear,

82% of Americans don't make $400k a year.
Here's the reality under Trump:
Tax cut for 1%
Higher taxes for middle class
30 million starving
30 million facing evictions
3 million new unemployment claims in 3 wks
No plan
No stimulus
Who would want 4 more yrs of this? https://t.co/sHhH3Ham3A
McDaniel’s claim comes as the election edges closer, with just over two weeks to go until election day, with polls often showing Biden in the lead.
