Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jason Statham Expecting First Baby? Victoria’s Secret Model Confirms Pregnancy On Instagram
Hollywood has been filled with baby news — from Beyoncé to Amal Clooney, who are both expecting twins. Just this Thursday evening, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and fiancé Jason Statham also announced they’re expecting their first child via an Instagram post.
The picture, which was taken by the 49-year-old “The Transporter” actor, showed Huntington-Whiteley and her baby bump as she took a kneeling pose on the beach. The 29-year-old Victoria’s Secret model, who flaunted her growing baby bump in a two-piece suit, wrote in her caption that she and her fiancé are very happy to share the news, Daily Mail noted.
“Very happy to share that Jason and I are expecting!! Lots of love Rosie x Photo by @jasonstatham,” Huntington-Whiteley wrote on Instagram.
Huntington-Whiteley and Statham have been a couple since 2010 and in recent months, reports have emerged speculating the model’s pregnancy. Both of them, however, were mum about the rumors and kept everything under wraps.
The soon-to-be-parents became engaged last year, Vogue revealed. Their reps confirmed their engagement after Huntington-Whiteley flashed her diamond engagement ring at the red carpet with Statham during the Golden Globes in January 2016.
Huntington-Whiteley got candid over the issues of marriage and having a family in one of her interviews in the past. According to E! News, the stunning model admitted that having a family has been on her mind but she stressed it wouldn’t be simple and perfect.
"Having a family is something I think about for sure, and whether I'd live here in America or in England," she explained. "But it's not always as simple as that… I have no idea what will happen, but it'll be interesting to find out, right? And nothing will be perfect, I'm sure."
Statham, on the other hand, opened up about his relationship with Huntington-Whiteley during an interview with Esquire magazine in 2015. He even joked that they usually spend their time together getting “drunk and floating around the swimming pool.”
