Is ‘Roswell, New Mexico’ On Tonight? Season 2, Episode 11 Air Date Revealed

Don’t plan on celebrating Memorial Day with your favorite aliens. The CW’s “Roswell, New Mexico” is not on tonight. The show will only be on a short hiatus before returning with new episodes.

On Monday, May 25, The CW will air some more family-friendly programming with “Howie Mandel’s 5th Annual All-Star Comedy Gala” at 8 p.m. EDT. The special (which first aired in February) was filmed at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal and features comics like Ronny Chieng, Cameron Esposito, Rachel Bloom, Fortune Feimster and more. After the 90-minute special, a repeat of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” will air.

“Roswell, New Mexico” Season 2, episode 11 will air on Monday, June 1. The hour, titled “Linger,” will kick off the final run of episodes. There will be no more breaks until the show’s finale airs on June 15.

In the next new episode, Liz (Jeanine Mason) might get a little too friendly with her ex. “Driven by the prospects of her scientific research, Liz opens up to Diego (Cleo Anthony) about all the good her findings could do,” the synopsis says. Remember, Diego doesn’t know that her research is all about alien DNA, and it would endanger Max (Nathan Dean), Michael (Michael Vlamis) and Isobel (Lily Cowles) if he found out.

The aliens, however, will be busy with the abductions. Last week, it was revealed that the disappearances are not exactly extraterrestrial. A military operation is taking people and wiping their memories with a special drug. “Meanwhile, Max enlists Kyle's (Michael Trevino) help getting to the bottom of the recent abductions, while Michael does his own investigating into Alex's (Tyler Blackburn) disappearance,” the logline teases.

Meanwhile, Isobel reaches out to Rosa (Amber Midthunder) in the episode. “Elsewhere, after learning more about her mother Louise, Isobel pays a visit to Rosa (Amber Midthunder), in hopes that Rosa could help her begin to heal,” the summary hints.

Though the season will end on June 15, “Roswell, New Mexico” fans can rest assured that the show will be back eventually. While the Season 3 schedule is not set, The CW did renew the extraterrestrial drama for another season.
