Ruby Rose, Karrueche Tran Update: Pair Hook Up For Dinner After Model’s Instagram Picture [VIDEO]

Could Ruby Rose and Karrueche Tran be an item? “Orange Is the New Black” star Rose is engaged to fashion designer Phoebe Dahl, but a week after Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend Tran revealed she had a crush on Rose, the two were spotted after a dinner date at E.P. & L.P. restaurant Monday night in Los Angeles, TMZ reported Tuesday.

“It’s a really good restaurant. You should try the oysters,” Rose, 29, told a paparazzo. The photographer pointed out that oysters are an aphrodisiac and both women looked at each other and giggled.

When Tran’s Instagram post was brought up, the model explained that she knew there were boundaries. “Listen, I understand. But she is happily married,” Tran said. the shutterbug quickly pointed out that Rose was not yet married. “Still, she’s taken. Good friends. That’s it,” she added.

But is that all? Rose paid for the outing. “I tried [to pay]. But she wouldn’t let me and I couldn’t say no,” Tran said.

After explaining they were just “best friends,” Rose said she would like to spend time with Tran on camera. “She’s an amazing, budding actress, so hopefully we could work together,” the Australian beauty said.

Earlier in the day, Rose was asked if her fiancée was bothered by all the attention. “No, not at all. If anything, it means she loves me even more,” the actress said.

Both women took to Instagram after their night out to share the same photo. Rose and Tran posed next to a sign that read “Where love lives.” Tran captioned the picture “Hello @rubyrose” and attracted more than 145,000 likes. Rose simply tagged Tran in the photo and attracted nearly 360,000 likes.

After the success of “OITNB” Season 3, Tran expressed her admiration for Rose in a public Instagram post. She referenced a popular meme of the star that said “When u think ur straight but then Ruby Rose comes and confuses you.” The model countered: “I’m not straight anymore. I’m not confused. I’m ready :)”

The post has since garnered more than 120,000 likes from Tran’s 2.9 million followers. It’s also been a hot conversation piece that inspired more than 13,000 comments.
