Ruby Rose Kicks Up A Storm On Social Media, Flirts With Ellie Goulding
“Orange Is The New Black” star Ruby Rose has kicked up a storm on social media with posts of singer Ellie Goulding. The 29-year-old Australian actress has grown close to the singer in recent weeks and has been seen flirting with her. The 29-year-old British singer has just split from her on-and-off boyfriend McBusted musician Dougie Poynter.
The “OITNB” actress split from ex-fiancée Phoebe Dahl late last year. Ruby was seen cozying up to Ellie in her social media pictures recently. Also, the actress who is starring in “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage” has gushed about Ellie on Twitter. A source close to her former fiancée told Mirror that Phoebe finds the fact that Ruby and Ellie are hanging out “weird.”
However, the source says that “they are just good friends.” Ruby’s ex has told people close to her about the Melbourne-raised beauty spending time with Ellie and about their pictures on Instagram. Ellie and Ruby were seen together in Prague.
Meanwhile, the openly gay actress is believed to have supported the singer at one of her concerts, while also Snapchatting her performance at the Grammys. She shared pictures of the “Love Me Like You Do” hitmaker and Taylor Swift on Instagram. “So much yes @taylorswift @elliegoulding,” she captioned the picture.
Fans of Ruby are advising the actress that she and Ellie would make a great pair. Some followers have even gone as far as suggesting that they both “should marry,” on Ruby’s Valentine’s Day post. The actress also replied with “I know.”
However, a representative for Ellie reportedly insisted that the pair is just good friends and any suggestion of them dating was “ridiculous.” But, Ruby’s representative was not reportedly available for comment.
Ruby, who is the new face of Urban Decay’s makeup line, said after her split from Phoebe in December that there was no bad blood between them. She added that Phoebe would always remain very close to her heart and that she would forever treasure their time together.
