Rudy Giuliani Vehemently Disputes Portrayal In New Borat Film
KEY POINTS
- Trump personal lawyer and former mayor Rudy Giuliani has been caught on camera with his hand in his pants, laying on the bed of an actress playing a journalist
- The incident was captured for a new film by Sasha Baron Cohen
- Giuliani says he did nothing wrong and was simply adjusting his shirt
Rudy Giuliani is facing criticism for his appearance in the latest Borat movie, in which comedian and faux journalist Sacha Baron Cohen - famous for fooling politicians on film - tricked Giuliani into being recorded reaching into his pants in a female reporter’s hotel room.
A personal lawyer to Donald Trump and former mayor, Giuliani had followed an actress playing a journalist back to her bedroom by her invitation, and appeared to be preparing for an intimate encounter when Baron Cohen burst into the room, shouted that the actress was 15, and then ran off with her. IMBD states that the actress is 24.

Giuliani would not be the first politician fooled by Sacha Baron Cohen.
In 2018, both former Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore and Georgia Republican lawmaker Jason Spencer were tricked into appearing on his show “Who Is America?” Spencer eventually resigned after he was tricked into repeatedly shouting racial epithets.
Giuliani says that he was simply readjusting his clothing after taking off the electronic recording equipment from the interview. He tweeted afterward that the video was meant to make him look bad due to his allegations against Hunter Biden. He also told the New York Times that Cohen had been scared off when Giuliani called the police due to not recognizing the comedian.
(1) The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment.

At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.
(3) This is an effort to blunt my relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family.

Deadline Hollywood reports CAA had a distribution screening in September where there was no mention of the scene holding any importance.
Many on social media, however, were less than convinced by his explanation. Many noted that tucking in a shirt would be extremely difficult while lying down on a bed.
Other angle......totally normal shirt tuck 😒 pic.twitter.com/uuimmGuMoh
