Rugby World Cup 2011: Details About the Tournament
The 2011 Rugby World Cup is just around the corner.
Hosted in New Zealand, the 20-team tournament will get underway on September 9th, and end on October 23rd. The final will be played at Eden Park in Auckland.
This is the seventh World Cup. Australia has won three titles, South Africa has won two, England has won one. Home-nation New Zealand is favored to win the title.
Teams in the tournament include Argentina, Australia, England, Fiji, France, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, Tonga, Wales, and the other eight that advanced to the tournament, through regional qualifying, include Canada, Gergia, Japan, Namibia, Romania, Russia, Somoa, and the United States.
