Rumer Willis celebrated her birthday this year by taking a trip down memory lane.
The actress shared on Instagram Monday a series of never-before-seen throwback photos of her younger self with her parents, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, to mark her 33rd birthday.
"How it started…..8.16.88," she wrote in the caption.
One snap showed a young Demi cradling baby Rumer, while another featured her dad Bruce carrying her sleeping form in his arms. Another photo showed the actor posing with his arms folded alongside his infant daughter on a couch, both of them wearing all-white outfits.
Rumer's sisters, Scout and Tallulah Willis, posted sweet tributes for her on her special day. "An icon was born today," Scout, 30, wrote.
Tallulah, 27, shared snaps of a younger Rumer, including one of her with their dad, Bruce. "THIS ICON WAS BORN 33 YEARS AGO TODAY ~~ AND WE, THE WORLD SAY THANK YOU!" she wrote in the caption. "Tender Rumer Glenn, you are such a quintessentially divine presence. My earliest understanding of you was that you were in complete embodiment of who you were."
Tallulah recounted how her older sister would take center stage during their impromptu productions, noting that there was "not a whisper of hesitation" in her and that Rumer "unapologetically commanded" their audiences.
"I personally think that you entered this world a soul so ready to be seen, even your hair refused to be shy," she added.
Tallulah also noted how their relationship as siblings has evolved to "best friends" and "soul twins," describing it as "one of the most treasured elements of my adult life."
"I will always see you, always keep a firm grip on you no matter how untethered things may feel, and always be in your corner rooting for you," she added. "Your life has been a vibrantly colored tapestry, and with year 33 stretching ahead of us, I have no doubt that there is so much more to add to it! Shine on my groovy guy - I love you."
Moore also celebrated her oldest daughter's birthday by sharing a throwback of baby Rumer behind the wheel of a convertible, alongside a more recent photo of her driving a similar car.
The actress said in the caption that Rumer "rocked my world when you were born at 7:04 a.m. in Paducah, Kentucky." She noted that her daughter "kept to the schedule" and arrived on her due date "ready for life, love and learning."
"You were a gorgeous baby and you have grown into the most stunning, remarkable young woman. I am so grateful you chose me to be your mother," the "Ghost" actress said. "Happy birthday, Rumer Glenn. I love and adore you and can’t wait to see what the next 33 years brings!"
"I love you so much mama," Rumer replied to her mother's post.
The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actress appeared to enjoy a getaway with her family to their Idaho home over the weekend to celebrate her birthday.
Rumer shared a video of her and Scout square-dancing to Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty's "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man" on their porch. Meanwhile, a video Scout posted to her Instagram Stories featured her and older sister singing a karaoke rendition of Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" with their mom.
