It doesn’t appear that the hype surrounding the Kristen Stewart Rupert Sanders affair will die down anytime soon. With Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reportedly back together, the word now is that the two are working on their problems, which include talking about the Sanders-sized elephant in the room.

When news of Stewart’s affair with the married director broke, the big question was whether or not the pair had sex. Denying from the start that they never did anything more than kiss, Stewart is still insisting to Pattinson that her scandalous relationship never got that far.

One of the main reasons behind the “Twilight” co-stars romantic reunion is that Stewart never slept with Sanders, according to a RadarOnline story.

“Kristen and Rupert both told their respective partners that they didn’t actually have sex,” a source explained to Radar. “Kristen was absolutely steadfast that she only engaged in several make-out sessions with Rupert, but never slept with him.”

The source added that Pattinson didn’t initially believe Stewart, but as time passed began to accept her explanation of the situation. Stewart reportedly even gave Pattinson passwords to her voicemail and email, trying to prove to him that he can trust her.

Stewart and Sanders affair made headlines in July when compromising pictures of the pair were published by Us Weekly. Now the gossip magazine is reporting that as of September Stewart and Pattinson had a “dramatic makeup” and are living together again.

The same doesn’t look like it can be said for Rupert Sanders and his estranged wife Liberty Ross. Ross and Sanders have two young children together, but judging by pictures of Ross, it doesn’t look like she’s ready to accept her cheating husband back into their lives.

Ross, a model, was spotted out with an ex-boyfriend earlier this month. The pair were caught holding hands, but it’s another pictures of Ross’ hands that have made headlines. TMZ caught Liberty Ross out Tuesday evening with a ring on finger, leading them to speculate that the model forgave Sanders. However, TMZ later posted an update with a closer look at the hand and the ring in question. It turns out that Ross may not actually be wearing her wedding ring, but instead just a ring on her middle finger.
