Ryan Dunn, the 34 year old star of MTV's Jackass died on June 20, 2011 in a car crash.

Dunn was drunk and speeding when he died, according to investigators.

The initial crash reconstruction investigation determined that Mr. Dunn's vehicle was traveling between 132-140 mph at the time of the collision, said Michael Carroll, the West Goshen Police Chief.

Several high profile people have lost their lives in similar incidents as well.

Below are several examples.

1) James Dean, American film actor, was killed in a car accident in September 30, 1955. He was 24.

2) Diana, Princess of Wales passed away in car crash in August 31, 1997 at the age of 36. Diana was fatally injured in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma road tunnel in Paris and died.

3) Lisa Nicole Lopes better known by her stage name Left Eye, was rapper, singer, dancer, and songwriter who was a member of the R&B group TLC. She died in a car crash in April 25, 2002. She was 30.

4) Benjamin Bob Clark was best known for directing and co-writing the script for the 1983 Christmas film A Christmas Story. He was killed in a car accident along the Pacific Coast Highway in California on April 4, 2007. He was 67.

5) Charles Pete Conrad, Jr. was the third person to walk on the Moon. On July 8, 1999 he ran off the road and crashed. He died at the age 69.
