Ryan Gosling And Eva Mendes Expecting Second Child Together

Hollywood has been abuzz with news of expectant mothers and newborn babies, and the latest actress whose pregnancy has been revealed is “Hitch” star Eva Mendes.

Mendes is expecting her second baby with long-time partner Ryan Gosling, as confirmed in multiple reports, even though the Hollywood couple kept news of the actress’ pregnancy a secret. A source revealed to Us Weekly magazine that Mendes was seen hiding her growing baby bump during a February photo shoot in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, another source also told E!News that Mendes is already in her second trimester.

The “Notebook” actor and Mendes first met on the sets of “The Place Beyond the Pines.” The two eventually fell in love and already have a child together. Their daughter Esmeralda was born in September 2014. The Hollywood couple also has a silent approach to family updates, and has yet to share photos of their baby girl.

Over the past few months, Mendes has kept a low profile and was rarely seen in front of a camera. In an October interview on the “Today Show,” the actress revealed plans to take a break from the limelight to take care of her family, as stated in the Us Weekly report. She also described her daughter Esmeralda as her “moral compass in a way,” when deciding whether to participate in a project or not.

“If I’m even like, ‘Oh, what should I wear? Or, should I do this project? All I have to think about is my daughter and her face, and I know the answer immediately,” Mendes said.

The Hollywood couple also plays an active role in caring for their daughter. An insider previously told E!News that Gosling was “very hands on” in taking care of Esmeralda. The insider said that the actor “changes diapers” and even “rocks [his daughter] to sleep.”

Gosling and Mendes, as well as their representatives, have yet to comment on the latest pregnancy news.
