The breakup rumors involving Ryan Gosling and girlfriend Eva Mendes have been recycled. Again.

The latest gossip on the block reports that Gosling left Mendes for a German model -- a rumor that first made headlines in mid-March.

Over the weekend, the Daily Mail posted new photos of Mendes, 38, back in Los Angeles after spending the past several months in Thailand, where Gosling, 31, had been filming.

While the photos (of Mendes stepping out of a salon in Los Feliz) are new, the accompanying text is not.

But as Hollywood gossip would have it, the pair made headlines on Monday, most likely due to the Daily Mail article, with everyone from Celebitchy to Toronto Life reporting on the alleged split.

Ryan and Eva are having trouble seeing eye to eye. ... He was having dinner with a blonde model. ... He tried to disguise himself with a woolly hat and scarf and seemed eager not to be noticed as they sat at a beach table, but he was clearly entranced by her, a source told the Daily Mail in its original report.

The source also added that Gosling recently took time off from his relationship with Mendes to think.
