Paulina Chmielecka, the former fiancée of TV reality star Ryan Jenkins said she, her friends and Jenkin's family are in shock after knowing Jenkins took his own life in the midst of accusations that he killed and mutilated his wife swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore.

Chmielecka dated Jenkins for more than two years prior to his marriage to Fiore. Although Jenkins has court records of violent altercations with other girlfriends he never looked a dangerous person for her, she said Wednesday.

I was with him for two and a half years and of course we fought, you know just like any normal relationship, she said confidently in an interview in NBC's Today's show. There were no signs of violence or anything that would potentially say well, at some point that person would commit a murder.

Chmielecka said that Jenkins also did not look a person capable of taking his own life.

Jenkins was accused of killing wife Fiore whose body appeared in a suitcase without fingers and teeth in California. Police only found him after he hanged himself in a motel room in Canada, his country of origin.

Police are investigating the case to know if he acted alone or not and what may have caused the assassination.
