- This was announced by South Korean carrier KT
- The red Galaxy Buds Live variant might make its way to the U.S. in the future
Samsung's new bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live now come in an additional color that fans are sure to love: red.
South Korean mobile carrier KT has announced that it is selling Samsung's Galaxy Buds Live in a new red color, Korean site The Elec reported. The color option arrives as an addition to the three original colors that fans and interested buyers can choose from: mystic bronze, mystic white and mystic black.
The new red version of the Galaxy Buds Live offers the same features as the other models. It also comes in a bean shape, offers active noise cancellation features, has a square-shaped charging case and has the same battery life and audio quality.
KT didn't mention the price, but it is expected to be the same as the other variants as well.
KT's announcement came weeks after the carrier released a video promoting the Galaxy Note 20 handset in a new mystic red color. That promotional video featured Jennie, a member of popular K-pop group Blackpink, as she looks at and plays with a red-colored Galaxy Note 20 5G.
The new red-colored Galaxy Buds Live comes as the perfect audio accessory to the red Galaxy Note 20 5G.
The carrier said the red version of the bean-shaped earbuds came as a response to high consumer demand, indicating that the company didn't originally plan on releasing such a variant. Nevertheless, fans will be glad to know that they can now get the audio device in the stunning red color.
U.S.-based fans, however, will not be able to get the red-colored Galaxy Buds Live from local stores – unless Samsung decides to bring it stateside.
But if Samsung's move in regards to the Galaxy Buds Plus is any indication, the red-colored Galaxy Buds Live might make its way to western shores as well.
Samsung previously released the Galaxy Buds Plus in red. This variant had the same features and also sold for the same affordable price. The only difference is that it came in red.
The tech giant first released the red-colored wireless earbuds in South Korea. It then brought the audio device to the U.S. after some time.
Samsung just might decide to do the same thing with the red Galaxy Buds Live in the future. Fans will have more options to choose from if and when the company does that.
