The Galaxy Note 10, Samsung’s highly anticipated phablet, has been the subject of many rumors recently. Now, renders purporting to show the alleged smartphone in all its glory have been leaked online. Let’s see how it looks like and what features the new phone might have.

The 5K renders, courtesy of prominent leaker @onLeaks and Indian tech blog 91mobiles, give people a 360-degree view of the Galaxy Note 10. If this leak is true, then a great number of fans will be divided by some key changes and omissions.

Changes

Based on the renders, Samsung has decided to move the volume rockers and power button to the left side of the phone. This is a big departure from previous designs, including that of the Galaxy S10 series where the power button is always located at the right side of the phone.

Samsung also moved the front camera to another location. Unlike the Galaxy S10 where the front camera is placed at the top right side, the Galaxy Note 10’s selfie camera will be placed in a punch-hole located at the center of the display.

The rear camera now has a different layout as well. Unlike other Samsung flagships that had multiple cameras sitting beside each other in a horizontal layout, the Galaxy Note 10 will feature three cameras stacked vertically. Nothing is said about the cameras, but rumors suggest that Samsung might equip the Note 10 with a 5x Zoom camera.

Omissions

Samsung has removed some features from older models on the Note 10. First, there’s the noticeable absence of the dedicated Bixby key, which could mean that Samsung is doing away with Bixby, or is just using another button or method to call Bixby up.

There is no fingerprint sensor at the back. The leakers speculate that the Note 10 might have an under-display fingerprint sensor instead.

Unfortunately, the renders also show the absence of the much-loved 3.5mm standard headphone jack. If the render is proven true, then Samsung, with the Note 10, will be joining Apple and other smartphone companies that ditched the beloved feature that those who spent money on wired audio equipment want.

Other features

The renders show that the Note 10 will feature a Type-C port, a wide 6.3-inch display that curves at the left and right edges, very thin bezels, a speaker grille, and the S-Pen located at the bottom. The phone is expected to measure 151mm x 72mm x 7.9mm, with the thickest point being the camera bump (at 8.3mm thick).

It might come with 45W fast charging, and might be released in five different colors including cardinal red.
